Jasper does the SAME thing. Oh, and instead of understanding that no means don’t do something he thinks it means that he can do it but as long as he shakes his head no like we do that it’s ok.. like throwing food off the highchair for instance!

I am so right there with you! We have the same dog water battle. No matter what I say she just does not seem to care. I tried another desperate approach the other day while she was splish splashing in the slimy dog water for the 100th time…I asked “What does Mommy say?”. She said “No!” in a stern Mommy voice and a (cute)mean face. I thought…well at least she is paying attention. LOL!

My kiddo does the same thing. And I have a really hard time not laughing back too, which of course makes the entire thing useless!
